Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Everything was perfect about Villa Brown Ermou in Athens. I often visit Athens and from this time on I would like book Villa Brown Ermou. But there had been an issue the we witnessed in the morning. It was about 06:45 AM in the morning, the ladies from room number 301 was about to check out and since they had to leave before 07:00 AM to the airport the breakfast room was closed and they asked a coffee to go. The receptionist gentleman said “We don’t have a barista before 07:00 AM but I try my best but I can not promise a perfect cappuccino. From this time on one of the lady from room number 301 was so so rude. I and my wife and our friends (Orbay Family) were shocked. The lady shouted more and more threatening the receptionist that she is going to write this issue… There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the room. If you have to leave before the breakfast time and if you are addicted to coffee, there is a coffee machine in the room. I can not understand why this lady from room number 301 was so rude and I wrote this down because the receptionist gentleman offered them coffee but saying that he is not a barista and the look of coffee might not be as good as a barista serving… I just wanted to write the truth that happened on December 22nd at 06:50 AM.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. Others have said they found the rooms small, but they were average-sized based on our travels in Europe. Maria and Niccola were THE BEST! We were hungry and exhausted from travel when we arrived to the hotel at about 8 p.m. and they set us up on the rooftop with wine , cheese, meats, and salad (and that fabulous view of the Acropolis) while taking our luggage to the room. In fact we visited that rooftop every night of our 3 night stay and found other Athenians mot staying at the hotel enjoying drinks and the view. Appreciated having a coffee and drinks bar in the hotel, and we found breakfast and other food delightful. I can’t believe how kind, friendly and generous all of the staff was! There is a very small elevator good for moving luggage and about 2 people. The location is in Plaka, an easy walk to Monastiraki, Syntagma Square, and all of the sites. We walked to the Acropolis from the hotel—though taking it easy in the heat meant it took us about 45 minutes instead of 20 as we stopped for frequent rests on our way up the hill. I hope to one day visit Athens again, and will especially look forward to staying at this lovely hotel that had so many nice touches! One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at in the world!

The hospitality we felt at Villa Brown Ermou was unparalleled - Konstantinos, Costa, Maria, and the rest of the Villa Brown staff took such good care of us during our stay in Athens. They were prompt with communication, connecting with us over WhatsApp and this became a great way for us to get dining recommendations while we were on the go during our stay. Of course we leveraged their deep knowledge of the area in person also - and headed to Lake Vouliagmeni one very hot afternoon to get reprieve from the heat by taking a dip into this lake that was sheltered by a very tall and imposing cliffside. The included breakfast was great, there was variety and a nice spread of fruit, baked goods, traditional Greek treats like dolmades and yogurt along with made-to-order eggs and coffee. Overall a great stay, the room was generously sized, with space for a sofa, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The location was great, we were only about a 10 min walk from any sight we ventured to (any and all popular ones that a first-timer would visit) and the round the clock concierge ensured that we had no issue getting into the hotel around 1am after watching a show at Herodeon. You can’t go wrong booking Villa Brown Ermou for your stay in Athens!

What a truly extraordinary place to stay. The wonderful people are so kind, caring and gracious. Our room is just a joy to be in. Gorgeous suite, comfortable king bed. We asked for some adjustments to the really opulent bedding as we needed more scant appointments and they came through for us. The breakfast is truly wonderful, fruit and fresh baked goods, spreads and yogurt, some light savory options and then more choices if you desire. The old world charm is truly off the charts and the location to all the wonderful parts of Athens is par excellence!! We have walked to Syntagma, Monasteraki, Plaka and they all are so close. I am sad this is our last night but when we return we will definitely stay again. When I arrived I was definitely a bit jet lagged but the moment I entered with my husband and we were offered cold water and some coffee and we just immediately felt so relieved, so at home, like we were being welcomed by family ( who actually really were happy we were here😁) Come stay and feel the real meaning of Greek hospitality We will never forget all the wonderful people who make this place a gem in Athens. It turned me around and I am a huge fan of Athens once again!! Thank you Villa Brown Ermou!!!❤️❤️

The property is small, but very modern fittings and furniture. It looks relatively new. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to provide us with information and suggestions on places to visit, walking routes to take. The location is ideal to explore the main tourist areas and a short walk to the Acropolis. Nikki and Maria were two of the staff at the reception I managed to get the names of, they recommended we go to Ermou 18 when asked for a rooftop bar suggestion and it was an excellent place. They also suggested where I could get good cheese and offered me a complimentary breakfast. Overall all the staff were warm and friendly. Although a boutique small hotel we felt very welcomed and taken care of, will recommend this hotel to anyone we know visiting
